Melbourne's Purgatory
theDUNGEON opened in August 2002.

Purgatory was started to provide an adult, informed and aware venue for those already familiar with the scene and who need somewhere safe to play, and for those who may be curious and wishing to explore possibilities. Due to the private nature of the club, bookings are essential. We are just north of Melbourne's CBD.

Purgatory offers a great place to meet like-minded people. Play at Purgatory is completely optional, but tolerance and good manners are not. Rude and obnoxious behaviour will NOT BE TOLERATED. We reserve the right to refuse entry.

MEMBERS

Our Club members are here to make sure you are comfortable, safe and at ease with what may be going on around you. If you are curious about any facet of play, then one of our members will be able to help you, or perhaps help you negotiate a scene.
THE VENUE

The venue is set over two levels, catering for all levels of interaction. Down stairs is replete with a bar and lounge area in a relaxed atmosphere, music kept at an enjoyable level for conversation and socialising, as well as a large, open, public play space with cross, spanking horse and cage.
 
 
There is also a caged dungeon complete with sling, or if you feel like relaxing, a pool table. Venture upstairs and you will find several rooms, including a bondage room with stock bed, our main fully equipped dungeon, complete with suspension, and other rooms, each with their own theme, from Jungle to Arabian Nights, as well as two bathrooms, one with a double shower, perfect for water sports.
